Canvas-Friendly Moodle Courses

When designing Moodle with Canvas in mind, it’s best to organize by Sections (called Modules in Canvas). Use primarily Moodle Pages for course content (URLs and Files also work), and use Forums, Assignments, Quizzes and our NC State external tools for activities and assessments.

Canvas Workshops

DELTA workshops to learn Canvas will begin in October. Teaching Resources articles and guides will be added to support those workshops.

  • A 30 minute preview session to take a look at Canvas and understand more about the Canvas transition timeline.
• Register for an Upcoming DELTA Canvas Workshop – Canvas Basics workshop options include:
  • A 4-part Canvas Basics Series: Part One, Part Two, Part Three, Part Four all offered online via Zoom.
  • An in-person 1/2 day Canvas Basics “Intensive” to get immersed in Canvas
  • More workshops will be offered beginning Spring, 2027
